Now, to the South side of LA!
I know you probably think I favor the North/East side of LA, but the South side also has lots of trails to cherish. Portuguese Bend is located in a 399-acre park. The area is filled with lots of wildflowers and amazing views of the Pacific Ocean and Catalina Island, if you know where to look.
I generally get lost when I enter the reserve so I’m not sure if I’ve ever truly hiked Portuguese Bend but the paths I took were really beautiful!

Comfortable athletic gear and tennis shoes. Make it stylish.
