Portuguese Bend

Now, to the South side of LA! I know you probably think I favor the North/East side of LA, but the South side also has lots of trails to cherish. Portuguese Bend is located in a 399-acre park. The area is filled with lots of wildflowers and amazing views of the Pacific Ocean and Catalina Island, if you know where to look.

All roads lead to Culver City. It’s true when they say that Culver City is in the middle of everything in LA. It’s a pretty solid place to live, especially if you like to travel around and explore different parts of LA.

Located just north of LA in Ventura/Thousand Oaks, you can find the Cave of Munits. The cave is located on the El Escorpion Trail and offers a breathtaking view to make you feel like you’re on top of the world.

Bridge To Nowhere

he Bridge to Nowhere was built in the 1930s to bridge the San Gabriel Valley and Wrightwood together. After a massive flood and a change in the landscape, the bridge was abandoned and left as an isolated tourist attraction. The 11(ish)-mile hike will take you through the San Gabriel River and up a 900-foot ascension. The trail is an absolute adventure and without much guidance, is easy to get lost in.
